Winter sunrise at Millie Bush

Zoe and I caught the sunrise this morning at Millie Bush Bark Park and it was breathtaking.  We haven't been here this early since late Summer.  The weather was perfect this morning and very Spring-like.

Zoe was all smiles and honestly, can you blame her?  We love it here, it's like our home away from home.

We always start out with a good long game of fetch.  This is Zoe's new addiction, and she can't get enough of the game.  Sometimes she'll even be ready for more when we get home, but luckily after 2 and a half hours at the park she was exhausted when we got home.

"Time for my mud facial."

"How do I look?"

We've been getting quite a bit of rain lately and the park is really starting to look beautiful again after a terrible Summer drought.  There are still a bit of cracks in the ground but most are filling in nicely.

You can never go wrong with starting your day out like this.

Looks like a great day. There's nothing better than an exhausted pooch! LOL!

Very true, especially when the pooch isn't quite a year old yet.

It's a great time of day to be at the park and the only time to go in the summer. I bet Zoe had a blast.

Welcome

Hi, I'm Alison and I have an 1 year old black lab mix named Zoe. She was found wandering around by herself near a highway at just 5 weeks old. While her story begins sad, she has had nothing short of a spoiled, happy and healthy life since coming home with me and my boyfriend.
