A week of Sunrises

Every day this week Zoe and I managed to get out of bed before sunrise, have some breakfast and head out to our favorite dog park; Millie Bush Bark Park.

Plenty of room for playing fetch and showing off your best diving moves.

"Don't move, this ball is mine!"

Mornings and evenings are my favorite parts of the day because it's the only time that it's cool enough to go outside and spend quality time with my dog.

Spa day!

At least I think that's what Zoe must think of it.  "Just a nice relaxing day at the spa while taking a mud bath."

I think she loves the mud almost as much as she loves to swim, and who am I to deny her from the things she loves?  No matter how much she stunk afterwards haha.  Good thing I was already planing on bathing her at the park that day.

Monday Mischief (New toy madness)

Our weekend was pretty laid back, we didn't go anywhere and  Zoe didn't even go swimming.. shocking, I know!  Truthfully, it was really too hot to do anything that required being outside.

But, the weekend wasn't a total sham, because new toys are always a win from Zoe's point of view.

No doubt a spoiled dog, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Rain, rain and more rain!

It's been raining on and off all week here and Zoe has been so patient the entire time.  We haven't been to the dog park at all this week, so yesterday after the rain finally stopped I took her for a nice long walk.

The field I usually take her to was flooded, but this pretty much made it like Disney Land for Zoe.

She even got to do some bird watching \ chasing.  I just love watching her in action and letting her enjoy being a dog.

We're expecting more rain over the weekend and as I'm typing this I can hear thunder outside.  But, I'm ok with that because it's about 20 degrees cooler, and I don't mind playing in the rain with my dog from time to time.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Monday Mischief

It's been extremely hot here lately.  Zoe has been spending most of her time laying around in our nice cool apartment.  We did at least get a bit of rain this weekend, which was nice while it lasted, but it didn't last as long as I would have liked. 

Zoe got to go to the park on Friday and Saturday morning, but we didn't stay long due to the heat.  Just look at that tongue!  Even the water was really warm.  Though I can't say I didn't mind when she would come up to me and shake water all over me.  Ahh, the affection of a wet dog on a hot Summer morning!
